Trade Week of Action resource guide – order now!

31. July 2007

The week of 14-21 October 2007 will be a Trade Week of Action. The EAA has developed a resource guide to support you in taking action during this week, and a website for the week will be going live shortly at www.tradeweek.org
The resource guide is available in English, French, Spanish and Portuguese. You can order printed copies of the resource at:    There is no charge for this. You can also download the guide in pdf form at:    The Trade Week of Action will be a time for churches and other groups all over the world to speak out and call for trade justice. People will be taking action on the issues that matter for each person’s communities and regions, but whether we are campaigning on EPAs or CAFTA, on farming or the garment industry, demonstrating in front of the World Bank or holding a fair trade meal in a church hall, we will be acting in solidarity with millions of others around the globe.   The resource guide is designed to help people play a part in the Trade Week of Action on 14-21 October. It looks at one trade issue which people could choose to campaign on, exploring the interactions between trade, agriculture, food and human rights and includes stories, action ideas, Biblical reflections and tips for campaigning. There is also a full liturgy which could be used for a church service during the Week.
